Mexico

So, as some of you may know, I've been wandering the streets in my native Tijuana, collecting stories, studies and looking for trouble. It's been a week and I'm about ready to head back to LA, but I learned a lot and met some great people (and dogs!). I'll post more soon, for now, here are some life studies from my sketchbook.

Hey Ramon,

I've been scoping out your work for a long time now, ever since you had that thread on Conceptart. It's been a pleasure watching your skills grow through your work, especially as I come across the same sorts of issues in my own pieces, and for that I want to thank you. Seeing how you've progressed and the types of compositions you're carrying out now usually serve as a good swift kick in the ass for me, and I think all of us need one from time to time. :-)

I really enjoy these quick studies you've done, by the way. Funny how the studies done beforehand are always the more interesting part of the finished product.
