New Fortuny study in progress


I haven't secured a good camera, so here's a cell phone picture as a placeholder. This is a small copy of Fortuny's Arab Chief from 1874. Along with Regnault's Salome, it's one of my favorite paintings. EVER.

Its facinating how far youve already come.

Only comment I can make is that I think his torso should be a bit wider and the shape of the head looks a bit to long. Could be because of the picture you took and have disortions though.

I agree its a great painting, love Fortuny!
