My sister kindly agreed to pose. This took us about 5 hours or so. In retrospect some of the edges look a little hard, but I will tend to that more carefully in future efforts. I hope to do many more drawings like this in the coming months.

Spanish time

I've developed a mild (or maybe not so mild) obsession with late 19th century Spanish painting. Of particular interest to me are Fortuny and those in his Roman circle. Here are two studies of the former's work, and one from Sorolla. Expect plenty more studies of this group.
