Plein air by the sea pt.2




Well, I finally got around to working on the Pier Cafe painting. It's been about 8 hours so far, I managed to kinda mangle up the water, but I'll fix it next time around. Mainly worked on the rocks and straightening the damn building out. Also, some shots of my setup out there :)

This is wonderful. I love the use of broken color on the cafe, and your treatment of the water is amazing to me. The impasto is really giving it life and depth. I hope to paint half this well someday!
